About Us

Droplet Lab was founded in 2016 by Dr. Alidad Amirfazli, faculty member at York University, and two of his researchers, Dr. Huanchen Chen and Dr. Jesus L. Muros-Cobos.

The company is committed to making the surface tensiometer a much more widely accessible and energy efficient tool.

The company has received several awards, including a $125,000 grant from the Natural Science and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC) Idea to Innovation Program.
