Musitechnic
THE LITTLE STORY
Musitechnic was founded in 1987 in Montreal by Gilles Valiquette , a well-known musician, composer and singer-songwriter. A visionary, he was convinced that technology (especially the computer) would become the centerpiece of audio production and the music industry, to the point of creating the first diploma recognized by the Ministry of Education and Higher Education. entirely devoted to computer-aided sound design . This was long before everyone knew what a computer mouse, MP3 player or even the Internet was. This pioneering vision and experience have made Musitechnic a pioneer in its field.
THE SCHOOL
Over the years, Musitechnic has remained on the lookout for the needs of the sound industry by being active on the musical scenes here and elsewhere and by collaborating closely with the main players in the field. This has allowed it to maintain its flagship program, the AEC in Recording and Sound Design as a reference of excellence in the field and thus offer courses such as:
Sound recording | Music production | Live sound mixing (FOH) | Surround mixing | Sound design for cinema | A udio for video games
Our in-depth knowledge of the audio industry allows us to anticipate its needs. It is for this reason that in 2022 we launched the AEC program in sound techniques for video games and images .
Musitechnic gives you access to a team of experienced and attentive teachers, facilities and equipment that will allow you to achieve results beyond your expectations.
