ToS was founded on my medical background incorporating a strong application in psychology which started when I owned two Leonberger cross dogs who developed territorial dog aggression, while living in a place that was attempting break in. I began studying and researching effective methods to break dog aggression.

My research lead me to a dog training program which emphasized behavioral training methods from behaviourists like Skinner, and Watson. Studying Pavlov’s dog helped me to gain insight into the canines learning and behaviour, but more so in how to correct it effectively.

From here I spent a few months Volunteering for a shelter and developing my current programs with success. I was assigned three dogs all of which had varying degrees of aggression and all three rehoused. 

Dog aggression specifically is tamed through behaviour modification in the human as I noted that when an aggressive dog has a male owner, he too often has some aggressive traits, and when a female has an aggressive dog, she often displays victim traits and bought the dog for protection. Another key point is that most dog owners will stand there while a dog is getting aggressive which tells me that owners need more education. My programs seek to educate people on what to do in these situations, and gives appropriate owner action to correct these behaviours.

My programs have lead to advancements in approach to certain behaviours and I have discovered a link between dog obedience training combined with agility and behaviour modification and how new learning and  canine behavioural changes permanently.
